Description:
This program will explore the basics of reverse mortgages from a title agent’s perspective. Topics include a brief history of reverse mortgages, the different types of reverse mortgages available in the marketplace, how they work, who qualifies and “what can go wrong?” The materials will touch on purchase money reverse mortgages, reverse mortgage fraud, and case law examining the critical issue of who is considered to be “the borrower.”
