Rebecca Wood is a Board Certified Specialist in Real Estate Law, and an active member of the Executive Council of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar where she serves as Co-Vice Chair of the Title Issues and Standards Committee, Secretary of the Residential Real Estate Industry Liaison Committee, Liaison to the University of Florida for the Law School Mentoring and Programming Committee, and general member of several other committees.

She is a Senior Underwriting Counsel at The Fund headquarters in Orlando, Florida.  She earned her B.A. degree in Business Administration from King College in Bristol, TN in 1988, and her J.D. from the University of Florida in 2010, where she was a member of the Florida Law Review and graduated cum laude. Ms. Wood is on the Editorial Board of The Fund Concept and The Fund Title Notes. Prior to joining The Fund in August 2014, Ms. Wood was a transactional attorney practicing in Gainesville, Florida; she focused primarily on residential real estate closings and title insurance. She is a Past-President of the North Florida Association of Real Estate Attorneys.
