Little Bits Matter

Happy Fall!  Doesn't feel much like Fall but I looked at my calendar for the upcoming weeks, and Thanksgiving is right around the corner.    Yikes!

I have a few things to mention to you in this blog so it should be easy-reading.  Sometimes I get bogged down in a mind-set that I shouldn't send out a blog post unless it's a BIG DEAL.  But I've decided that there's no reason why I shouldn't send out shorter, quick messages that let you know about all of the other stuff that is going on….even it if isn't exciting, scary or industry-changing.  So here goes….

Cyber fraud tip of the week: One of the easiest things you can do to protect your emails from hackers is to move away from using any of the free email platforms for your title and closing business. Do not do business with lenders, realtors, buyers and sellers over Gmail, Yahoo or AOL. These systems are very easy to hack. So here is a link to information about getting your own domain name and email service. https://www.ameritechmedia.com/domains It's easy and very reasonable. Plus, you can come up with a creative domain name! Good marketing tool….

Habla Espanol? We are working on providing Spanish versions of our marketing flyers. If this is useful in your market, you should be seeing these very soon. You will be able to access them here on our website. Estimated to be released in November.

DoubleTime Support.  If you are a DoubleTime user and have not decided when or whether you want to move to E-ClosingDT, do not believe our competitors when they tell you that DoubleTime support is "going away."    You are in no jeopardy of losing DT support anytime soon.  We have not made a decision on when DT support will be phased out but please be assured you will get plenty of notice.  So do not feel pressured to move to another software based on fear that we will suddenly yank away your support.  Not happening…….
