Ch. 8 – Air & Sub-Surface Rights
Description
This session focuses on “spatial property ownership,” rights not typically considered in residential transactions. In those transactions, the focus is on the two-dimensional aspects of ownership as determined by a valid legal description and customarily displayed in a survey map. Here, the focus is on air rights and sub-surface rights, which can themselves be of great value in a commercial sale.
