TRID IS HERE!

How are you doing with the changes?

TRID is finally here! I am giving us all a break this week and have nothing of substance to relay. We have done everything we could think of to prepare you for the new rules, new processes and new ways to work with lenders, realtors, buyers and sellers.

It is now your turn to communicate back to us and let us know what is going on out there. What problems do you have with software? Is communication with lenders a problem? Is there confusion about interpretation of the rules? Are closings being delayed? Are there issues not addressed by the standard contract? On October 6 I am off to the ALTA Annual Conference where there will be much discussion about TRID and TRID-related topics. I look forward to hearing from you and about your early experiences with the new rules.
