All of us at Florida ARECS extend our heartfelt sympathy to those devastated by Hurricane Irma. Floridians will be faced with repairing and rebuilding their homes, businesses and lives for months or even years.

The Attorneys’ Real Estate Councils of Florida has been a sponsor of the RPPTL Residential Real Estate & Industry Liaison (RREIL) Committee since 2018.  Under normal circumstances our Board would be attending their meetings in person and spreading the word about the RECs and the incredible work they are doing; bringing together real estate attorneys and providing opportunities to promote them to the Realtor® community.

Erin is a partner in Gasdick, Stanton, Early, P.A. in Orlando and is the Immediate Past President of the Central Florida Real Estate Attorneys’ Council (CFREAC). On August 8^th the Florida ARECS Board of Directors elected Patricia Nugent President.

The Attorneys’ Real Estate Council of Miami-Dade and North Dade & Beaches REC held their annual joint meeting featuring Manny Farach’s Business & Real Estate Case Law Update. 

The Central Florida Real Estate Attorneys’ Council (CFREAC) held a joint meeting with the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar (RPPTL) on December 7th.  The event, which was co-sponsored by the Orange County Bar Association’s Estate, Guardianship & Trust Committee, featured a Trivia Contest for Members to match wits on “Dirt and Death” topics.  CFREAC and RPPTL also collected toys for Toys for Tots and raised money for United Against Poverty.
