Description
Base Title is that point in the chain of title from which Old Republic Title authorizes beginning search and examination of title coming forward to the present to ultimately issue title insurance on Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. For insuring interest, an underwriter has the right to establish the acceptable title search and examination “starting point”. The starting point is the Base Title.
