Description
Calculation and determination of title insurance premiums are strictly regulated pursuant to the rate structure set forth in the Florida Administrative Code. State regulations mandate charging title insurance premiums with application of the most consumer-friendly premium or discount available on each insured transaction. We will also review the requirements of the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) requirements for disclosing the cost of mortgage title insurance and the conflict which arises with Florida law.
