Description

Florida’s housing market certainly made an admirable recovery in the years following last decade’s housing bust, but today it faces a supply shortage that threatens its continued expansion. Current homeowners are increasingly staying in place for longer periods of time, and new home construction has not kept up with the pace of Florida’s renewed and robust job and population growth. Will this bottleneck in the inventory of homes for sale continue? And what are the potential consequences if it does?
