Title Policy Endorsements

Description:
This course will examine the regulations and underwriting guidelines incident to the issuance of endorsements to owner and mortgagee title insurance policies. Included will be a review of the role of the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation in approving endorsements for use in Florida as well as the duties of attorneys acting as title insurance agents. Such duties include a critical review of requests for endorsements, the guidelines related to their issuance, and requirements for modifying the coverages provided by endorsements when necessary.
