The North Dade and the Beaches REC held their regular monthly lunch meeting on October 8th and welcomed Rebecca Wood, Senior Underwriting Counsel with The Fund, who presented Guide to Reading Surveys. Attendees earned 1.0 hour of Florida Bar CLE! The Polk Area Real Estate Council hosted a fascinating program on October 12th, Economic Development in Polk County at the Grove Roots Brewing Company in Winter Haven. PAREC President David Miller moderated the panel discussion highlighting the latest developments and notable plans for the future.

On October 17th the Escambia-Santa Rosa Real Estate Council welcomed Quint Studer, a Pensacola area developer, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Mr. Studer is also owner of the Pensacola minor league baseball team Blue Wahoos and provided his insightful forecast for area real estate development.
Then on November 13th the Real Estate Council of Martin County invited Larry Massing, from the Martin County Building Department to discuss Open or Expired Building Permits and the Issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy.
