The North Dade & Beaches REC hosted their first event of the year on January 13th when they featured a program discussing various aspects of the PPP Loan Forgiveness Application, a topic of great importance to many law firms and title companies.
West Palm Beach Attorney Manuel Farach presented his very popular Annual Real Estate & Business Case Law Review to a number of RECs during January and February including South Miami-Dade, North Dade & Beaches, and Central Florida Real Estate Attorneys’ Council (CFREAC). This two-hour, Florida Bar accredited, review of case law is geared toward the real estate and business practitioner. Categories discussed included case law on contracts, title issues, corporate governance and litigation disputes, real estate covenants, fraud as it affects real estate and business disputes, consumer protection laws, bankruptcy, federal claims, foreclosure, and land development issues.
On February 11th, the Bay Area Real Estate Council (BAREC) held their Annual Economic Outlook event featuring Gay Cororaton, CBE, Senior Economist and Director of Housing & Commercial Research at the Research Group of the National Association of REALTORS®. Ms. Cororaton discussed the latest residential and commercial market trends in the U.S. and the Tampa Bay area, including investments by foreign buyers, and the economic outlook for 2021.
