Joshua is a native Floridian and New Smyrna Beach resident. Joshua’s practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate matters, land use issues, and estate planning, probate, and trust law. Mr. Wells graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 2007 and received JD and Master’s degrees, with honors, from Vermont Law School in 2013. During law school, Mr. Wells drafted model land use ordinances for a state Regional Planning Commission, and authored an article published in a national planning and land use journal.

After law school, Joshua clerked with the City of Jacksonville’s Office of General Counsel focusing on real estate, land use, and planning issues. Before joining Wright & Casey, P.A., Joshua practiced for over two years as a transactional attorney with the law firm Mark R. Hall, P.A. in New Smyrna Beach, where he focused his practice on real estate, trusts, and estate planning. Mr. Wells is involved as a leader in several community organizations and actively serves as a director of the Southeast Volusia Kiwanis Club, as the Secretary of the Canal Street Historic District, and as the President-elect of the Real Estate Council of Volusia County.

Mr. Schumann is Board Certified in Real Estate by The Florida Bar. He handles Complex and Standard Real Estate Transactional (Commercial and High-End Residential), Commercial Lease Drafting and Landlord/Tenant Representation, Lender Representation and Loan Package Production, Complex and Simple Private Financing, Mortgages and Security Agreements, Representation of Real Estate Investment Groups and Individuals, Title Insurance, Rectifying Title Defects and Issues, Construction Contracts and Lien Enforcement, Commercial Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategies and Planning, Real Estate Loan Workouts. Schumann also works with clients in the areas of Business Law including, Business Transactional, Strategic Business Planning, Entity Structuring and Formation, Shareholder and Member Agreements, Shareholder and Partner Buyouts, Business Sales and Purchases/Mergers & Acquisitions, Franchising, Licensing and Joint Ventures, Vendor Contracts, Customer Contracts, Commercial and Construction Contracts, In-House Counsel Style Representation and Day-to-Day Business Representation.

Maia Albrecht is an attorney with the Shuffield, Lowman & Wilson, P.A. law firm, working out of the firm’s offices in Daytona Beach and in Orlando. Maia concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial real estate transactions, lender representation, commercial leasing and secured transactions. She has experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale documents, leases, and financing documents, and takes a practical and goal-oriented approach to resolving complex issues related to the acquisition, development, financing and sale of real estate. Maia also frequently consults with other practice areas of the ShuffieldLowman firm, providing her assistance in document preparation and experience in addressing a wide range of real property issues.

Sydney Cichon was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. Ms. Cichon’s practice focuses on civil litigation, corporate & business law, and real estate matters. After graduating from Seabreeze High School, Ms. Cichon attended the University of North Florida, graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Ms. Cichon went on to attend the Florida International University College of Law in Miami, Florida. While in law school, Ms. Cichon was on the Dean’s List every semester, and competed as a member of the FIU Law Mock Trial Team and the FIU Law Moot Court Team. Ms. Cichon is involved in several community organizations and actively serves as a Director of the Volusia County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and as a board member of the Volusia Young Professional’s Group.

Jim Pickens has been a resident of Volusia County, Florida for over 20 years. He attended Sugar Mill Elementary School, Silver Sands Middle School, Spruce Creek High School, and was a member of the first graduating class of Atlantic High School. Jim obtained his B.A. Degree at The University of Georgia, where he double majored in Management and Management Information Systems. Jim obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Barry University and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2011. As a law student, Jim was a Judicial Extern for Seventh Judicial Circuit Judge Raul Zambrano, a Research Assistant to Professor Patrick Tolan, a founding member of the Earth Jurisprudence and Environmental Justice Law Journal and served as an Executive Editor, and was a Certified Legal Intern for the Seminole County Bar Association Legal Aid Society. Jim served as an Assistant State Attorney before joining Kinsey, Vincent, Pyle, P.L. in 2013.

Jim is a member of Leadership Daytona Class XXXV; a founding Board Member of the Volusia County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division; and is AV Preeminent® Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, which is the highest rating obtainable by an attorney. Jim is also a member of The Fund and an authorized signatory for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.

Trisha Dellinger holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. She was admitted to the bar in 1997 and joined the firm in September of that year. Her areas of practice include commercial and residential real estate transactions, elder law, and estate planning. She is a member of the Volusia County Bar Association and Florida Bar Association.

She is the past president and current member for the Volusia/Flagler Association for Women Lawyers. She is a director of the Real Property Council of Volusia County and a committee member of the Elder Law Committee of the Volusia County Bar. She is also a member of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar.
