Description

The Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requires financial institutions to have anti-money laundering (AML) programs reasonably designed to identify and report suspicious activity for the benefit of law enforcement.  As financial institutions develop more robust monitoring systems, criminals intent on laundering their ill-gotten gains look for alternative mechanisms, such as real estate, to facilitate their illicit activity.  This compelling session will promote awareness for the warning signs of vulnerability and exploitation to money laundering through real estate.
