13.01 How do I put a Serialized Form back in Inventory?

  • Open the Forms Tracking module.
  • Select the Title Agent, Underwriter, Form Type, and Form No. (without Prefix), and click OK.
  • Change the Form Status from Used to Received.
  • Exit the module and save changes. The serialized form is now available for selection in a new or existing file.

13.02 Is there a prefix for the Fund Form E Endorsement (General Endorsement) form?

No. There is no prefix for the Fund Form E Endorsement (General Endorsement).


13.03 How do I delete a form from Forms Inventory?

  • From the Modules menu, select Serialized Forms, then select Delete Forms Inventory.
  • Select the Form Type.
  • For Fund Forms, the prefix is automatically defaulted in the Prefix field, i.e., CF = Commitment, OPM = Owners Policy, MP = Mortgagee Policy. If you are using another underwriter's forms, you can enter their Prefix.
  • Enter the Start No. and End No. for the range of numbers to be deleted.
  • Click the Delete icon, and a Warning message is displayed.
  • If Yes is chosen, a Final Warning message is displayed.
  • If Yes is chosen, a status window is displayed showing the Total Forms Selected #, Total Forms Deleted #, Total Forms Used - Not deleted #, and Total Forms Not in Inventory #.
  • Click OK to close the window.

13.04 How can I print a Serialized Forms Report?

  • Open the Reports module.
  • Select the Serialized Forms Report and choose the appropriate search criteria, such as Title Agent, Underwriter, Form Type, Form Status, Status Date From, and/or Assigned To. If the report is for forms associated with a specific closing file, enter the Closing File Number.
  • Click OK to run the Report.

13.05 How do I change a status on a particular Serialized Form?

  • Open the Forms Tracking module.
  • Select a Form Type. Enter the Form Number (without Prefix) and click OK.
  • Change the Form Status.
  • Exit the module and save changes.
  • The available Form Statuses are:
  • Assigned - The form is available and has been assigned to a particular employee within the title agent's office.
  • Cancelled - The form has been cancelled, and it is not available for use. This may be used when the closing is not going to take place, and the form has been sent to the underwriter.
  • Received - The form is available for selection.
  • Sent to Underwriter - The form has been used and has been sent to the underwriter.
  • Transferred - The form has been transferred to another agent.
  • Used - The form has been used in a closing file.

13.06 How do I add Serialized Forms to Inventory?

  • From the Modules menu, select Serialized Forms, then select Create Forms Inventory.
  • Select the Form Type.
  • For Fund Forms, the prefix is automatically defaulted in the Prefix field, i.e., CF = Commitment, OPM = Owners Policy, MP = Mortgagee Policy. If you are using another underwriter's forms, you can enter their Prefix.
  • Enter the Start No. and End No. for the range of numbers to be added.
  • In the Recvd Date field, the system date of the PC is defaulted.
  • Exit the module and save changes.
