Important Reminders: Year End Policy Remittance & DFS Administrative Surcharge

Hello Members,

Jeepers. The year is almost over!  I am confident that I am 100% organized for the holidays and won't forget a single thing!  How about you?  At least we are experiencing some cooler weather but who knows how long that will last.  A few things to remind you about.

Year end policy remittance. It's important for you to get your policies and premium to us by the end of the year.  It helps us accurately reflect our year end numbers but it also helps you get a better picture of how much business you did in the calendar year 2024.  So here are some helpful reminders.

Members should remit policies and checks to our P.O. Box noted below. Policies SHOULD NOT BE EMAILED. Policies sent to the lockbox are priority and emailed policies will not be guaranteed processing by year-end.

To meet our year-end closing schedule and ensure that all transactions are processed in 2024, all policies and payments must be received no later than Monday, December 30, 2024 by noon.

Please remit policies and checks to our P.O. Box:

Attorneys' Title Fund Services
Attn: Revenue Operations
P.O. Box 628601
Orlando, Florida 32862-8601

We highly discourage the use of overnight mail (FedEx, UPS, etc.), but if needed, our physical street address is:

Attorneys' Title Fund Services
Attn: Revenue Operations
6545 Corporate Centre Blvd.
Orlando, Florida 32822

For ClosingVue, DoubleTime and ePolicyManager customers using eSolutions, the deadline to submit electronically is Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. Policies received electronically after 5:30 p.m. will be processed in 2025.

DFS Administrative Surcharge.  If you operate through a title agency, don't forget to pay your administrative surcharge of $200 to the Florida Department of Financial Services on or before Jan. 31, 2025.  You should get a "courtesy email" reminder in early January from DFS. To ensure you receive follow-up emails, please log in to the MyProfile account for your title agency and make sure the correct email address is on file. DFS also recommends you do the same for your individual MyProfile account. Demographic changes made to an agency's profile do not populate the profiles of licensees associated with the agency.  Payments must be made online as DFS does not accept checks.

I really can't think of anything else that you need to know right now.  Lots will be happening in 2025 between the legislative session, a change in the administration in Washington, and the implementation of the new FinCEN rule.  So get plenty of rest and relaxation over the holidays and be ready to get back at it in January.

Best wishes for the holidays.

Let me know how we can help you.
