Full Membership

Attorneys who wish Full Membership in The Fund should fulfill the following criteria.

• In good standing with The Florida Bar
• Presently engaged in the private practice of law
• Must carry Professional Liability Insurance, minimum coverage of $250,000. The Professional Liability Insurance must cover title agents' errors and omissions.
• Can pass a credit and background check
• Can supply two letters of recommendation from current Fund members outside your firm

New members are required to attend an orientation which details how to work with The Fund and take advantage of all our services.

There is a $25.00 membership fee to join The Fund. A $500 annual Service Support Fee is refunded if your title premiums for the year equal or exceed that amount and your account is then current. Or, if you have become licensed by The Florida Bar within the previous two-years, there is a $25 membership fee and a $300 Tuition for New Member Training. Thereafter, the annual Service Support Fee will be $500 annually. This fee will remain in effect for your first two years as a Fund member, regardless of date of licensure. After fulfilling the above criteria, your application will be submitted to the Executive Management Team for approval.

Full Membership Regulations ( PDF / 67K). Please print out a copy of the Regulations to keep for your files as part of the agency agreement application. It is not necessary to mail the Regulations with your application.
